Banana Maple Froyo
Banana pancakes were the inspiration. Frozen bananas, cinnamon, maple syrup, "cinnamon whiskey" for the booze anti-freeze properties. Kinda funny, for Sara's going away party our friend Nicole got a pinata and filled it with all manner of things, including those little airplane-sized bottles of booze.
2c yogurt
1/2 c maple syrup
3 frozen bananas
cinnamon
salt
~1T cinnamon whiskey

Qupe library tasting
As a wine club perk Qupe did a tasting of 2 different vintages for a couple of their wines, so you could see the effect of aging and different weather and stuff. Erin and Charlie came along and it was great fun. Also, we saw a coyote on the way in and a bobcat on the way out! Full album here.

Qupe / Au Bon Climat Open House
We're in the Qupe (Chumash for Poppy) wine club. One of the perks are the biannual open houses at the winery/vineyard that Qupe shares with Au Bon Climat. We went in the spring, but I didn't take a camera, this time I was prepared. Full album here. I had a great time with the camera, interesting shapes a plenty. Food was good, wine was good.

Figueroa Mountain, April 2013
We went up Figueroa Mountain this weekend. Went up the west side, spent the night at Figueroa campground, went down the east side, then went in to Los Olivos for wine tasting at Qupe. Nice weekend.Full album here.
