Post-apartheid South Africa Rice

The brown and the white are together, eh? The short grain brown/long grain white bit is important. Short grain white makes the result too dense. Note that rice is one of the most important things to buy organically!

recipe:
1 1/2 c organic short grain brown rice
1/2 c organic long grain white rice
4 c water
salt
Boil water, add salt.
Add brown rice, simmer 30 min (or so), covered
Add white rice, cook for a total of 1 hour, covered
