Audrey Hepburn

The Writer's Almanac noted this morning that Audrey Hepburn was born on 4 May 1929 in Brussels. So I reckon I'll run down her movies that I've seen. All are highly recommended. Generally the dvds of her movies are good, lots of special features. She was a mighty fine human being.

Roman Holiday. 1953. w/ Gregory Peck. She plays a princess, playing hooky in Rome.
Sabrina. 1954. w/ Humphrey Bogart. She goes to Paris to become a better cook, and grow up.
Funny Face. 1957. w/ Fred Astaire. She goes from mousy bookstore employee to Parisian fashion model.
The Unforgiven. 1960. w/ Burt Lancaster. A western, about racism.
Breakfast at Tiffany's. 1961. w/ Hannibal from the A-Team. Awesome movie.
Charade. 1963. w/ Cary Grant, Walter Matthau, James Coburn, George Kennedy. A classic 60s spy movie. The criterion dvd is sweet.
My Fair Lady. 1964. w/ Rex Harrison. Street urchin musical.
Two for the Road. 1967. w/ Albert Finney. About marriage and divorce. A really interesting non-linear movie.
Wait Until Dark. 1967. w/Alan Arkin. She plays a blind woman who is the victim of a home invasion robbery. The climax of this movie is amazing.
