Hummingbird Babies + Nest

the nest is built in to my bike chainring mobile, just outside the kitchen door. Feb 24th - March 7th
Nikon D600, mix of lenses early, mostly 300 af-s late

These two are Feb 24

this one is Feb 25th, both beaks still pointed same direction

March 1, babies are head to tail in the nest, you can see one is developing faster than the other

 March 4, only 1 left in the nest...

...cause the other one is a bird on a wire...

March 5th, the 2nd one leaves the nest

it didn't go too far, though
