Rutabaga 2020

Mmm rutabaga. Braise or roast are good. I've also used it to make "sauerkraut".

Favas 2020

Forgot to publish this. Fresh fava season is march/april here basically. I pod them but never peel. Generally a braise is the way to go, saute with olive oil a little, add some liquid, cover, steam.

Audubon Conservation Ranching

Heard a really nice webinar from Audubon just now. They have a certification program for ranchers who manage their lands in ways that support bird species who inhabit grasslands. I don't eat much red meat at all but glad this exists.
