Made stuffed cabbage again, took more photos, had a better filling, but still wasn't too terribly impressed. I dunno. The presentation is nice, but flavour isn't too terribly interesting. For posterity's sake:
Filling. Beef, corriander, cumin, caramelized leeks, etc.
God bless Global Knives. Also, when you smash garlic you don't have to chop it that well.

Nice to see another person who makes stuffed cabbage. My recipe has been handed down from my grandmother who made the best stuffed cabbage that I've tasted yet. I noticed you had some interesting ingredients which I've never tried in my recipe.
ReplyDeleteThe corriander/cumin to season ground beef is from Jamie Oliver. Had the leeks laying about. These are my first attempts, being gifted a huge cabbage...
