Panaderias en Baja California

One of the best parts of a baja trip is when you stock up on breakfast treats at the panaderias. I'm partial to gingerbread pigs, anything with creme anglaise, and, well, just about everything else.

  1. Bleh! I can still remember my first SDSU Geography trip to Baja, and everyone was jonesing for the pastries. I was so disappointed to discover that they were all dry and bland. Just my opinion...

  2. Those trips didn't go far enough south. You have to make it to Colonia Colonet or El Rosario for the good ones -- small operations where the baker takes pride in his product.
