Pizza with Eliza's Fam

The greatest week of Eliza's recent life just ended. Her family was in town. Friday night we did pizza at my place. Brosi made dough, 100% wholewheat, and she mentioned she thought the flour might be a little old. It was. C'est la vie. I made some 50/50 dough, made it at 6am, rose once in the oven before I went to school, slow rise all day sitting next to defrosting red sauce, one more rise in the oven when I got home. Long rises are the key. Red sauce. Provolone and Monterey Jack from the co-op. Simple.
I'm terrible with names, and they were unique enough that I can't spell 'em anyway, so I'll update this. It was fun, though I have to work on delegating or something so I can be a part of the non-kitchen conversation. When my folks were here we also hardly talked. A shame cause everyone was very nice and interesting. K/T, Sara, too.
Traves brought a 6-pack of Rogue Mocha Porter. Traves is a very very good person. Haven't had that one in a while. FYI, the other best Rogue's are Brutal Bitter, Shakespeare Stout, Yellow Snow IPA, Hazelnut Brown, and Smoke. The imperials in the tiny bottles, too.
Almost forgot. The Chocolove 55% solids, chilies and cherries dark chocolate bar was epic!
