People watching while wet

Was up kinda late for me last night watching the Blazers win -- ate dinner at 10. So slept in a little, didn't leave the house to go surfing till after 7. Saw some funny things this morning.

A nice guy passed me at the top of the stairs while I was locking my bike, walking his dog. Except the dog was scared of me -- I was wearing a full suit and hood, so looked like a black blob. The dude said to the dog, "c'mon, he's a human, you don't have to be scared." A little later a german guy came down the stairs, carrying a single speed. He had a cyclists tan lines. Waded out into the ocean, probably didn't realize the water is a bit nipple-y. Went in and laid down on a towel to soak up some rays. Except it was kinda windy, so he didn't last long. Germans. Tanning at 7:30.

Meanwhile the surf was a little small and inconsistent, but really fun when one came through.

Not sure if it was cause I was a little late getting out, but there were just a ton of joggers out and about. Funniest group hopped the fence on the top of the cliff, guy and girl, case of, I think, Natty Light. They were sitting on the edge, feet hanging over, drinking beer. At 8 am. Disaster waiting to happen. Except it was kinda windy, so they didn't last long, and left without stumbling over the edge.
