Withnail and I

There was a Withnail and I mention in an onion article today (end of the 2nd page), that also mentions a Roger Ebert appreciation of it. It is a pretty amazing movie. I rented it a while back, it was sitting on the 'cult' films shelf of Emerald Video in IV, and it was one of those times when you bring it up to the counter and the video store dude gives you a nod of approval, and you feel good about yourself.... Basically the movie is about two out of work actors in London, who are alcoholics, and have funny acquaintances and experiences. There's also some lovely imagery of the English countryside. I'm purposefully trying to not give too much away. Highly recommended, especially the Criterion disc.
