USA vs. Algeria

This was murder. Was listening to it on the radio while gardening (ESPN radio, 710 AM). We had another legitimate goal called back. Eek. Sounded like we were attacking the whole 2nd half, finally got a garbage-y goal in the 92nd minute. So happy. Watching the Ghana/Germany game live, then will watch the US game...

Oh man. On the attack the whole 2nd half. Algeria was playing for a tie, playing not that they would advance, but that they would stop the US from doing so. In the words of the announcer, 20 seconds before the goal: dreadfully negative, really, from the Algerians. Quite a celebration.

Looking south from Noordhoek towards Kommetjie (the town we lived in).
